Help with window regulator

Tinkering with some minor repairs to my new (to me) 50 F1. The driver side window regulator was not working when I picked up the truck from the PO. I have removed the door inside panel and the glass is there. It appears that one of the two regulator arms is not attached at the upper end (top) part of the assembly at the regulator handle.
I have the shop manual and am attempting to follow instructions for removal of the regulator assembly. I'm learning that these shop manuals love to skip parts (presumably I should know already.) Case in point-- instructions say "Remove the regulator handle." Ok great-- now how do I do that?!

Push the spring loaded ring at the base of the handle back against the door itself. Once you have it pushed back, you'll see a small pin holding the handle in place. Use a small punch to knock the pin out, and the handle will come off. After that, you have three screws to remove, and the regulator will be free.

Thanks Doc. That was easy enough. Which three screws are you referring to? Just want to confirm I know the next step. Thanks again.

It will be the three screws closest to that window handle. Take a step back and study it, and it will be clear as to which ones are holding the door handle and which are holding the window regulator mechanism. Use a BIG flat screwdriver and take your time breaking them loose.

Edit: Scratch that. It appears your truck has Phillips head screws. Use a BIG Phillips screwdriver. LOL. Carry on.... Show us a picture of the whole mechanism when you get it out. I might be hallucinating, but I don't see your channel lift piece (the piece that actually holds your glass).

I already removed channel lift piece per the shop manual instructions. But will show you a pick of the whole mechanism when I get it out. Thanks

The door glass regulator is broken. The two arms that go from the window crank section to the flat portion that holds the glass channel need to be parallel to each other. Yours aren't. One is loose. If you can't fix it, I have several good replacements.

Finally got the regulator assembly out and it's definitely broken. Can one of you guys take a look and confirm for me this thing cannot be repaired? One of the two control arms has come apart. I

t appears to me there is no fix for this and I'll need to find a replacement for the whole assembly.

Easy fix for a welder... put the arm on the rivet, put a washer over it, and weld the washer to the rivet.
