...I wish someone would ask the Ford Service Rep about this...
Hi everyone,
If you notice any damage on your vehicle, it is important to get it in front of your dealership ASAP, preferably when you take delivery of it or shortly thereafter. Even if some time has elapsed, your next step should be making an appointment at your dealership so they can document this and recommend a course of action from there. The best way to get information like this into the hands of our engineering team is through documentation at the dealership level, where trained techs can actually get their eyes (and hands) on your trucks.

Yesterday and today I walked by five new F250's in parking lots and four out of the five had the dents or dimples on the driver's side, passenger's side or both. I am 100% convinced this is a factory glitch and that a recall needs to be issued by Ford and these hoods fixed by PDR free of charge. I have never heard of anything like this on any new vehicle being manufactured today. How does a car manufacturer decide when to recall vehicles for problems? What criteria do they use ?
Crystal
what criteria does Ford use to issue a recall?

I tried going to the Service Manager at the Dealer and he tried to get FORD to fix the issue but FORD told him they would not fix the dents.
Can you provide me with a FORD Rep for the South New Jersey area that could help

Recalls are only ever issued for things deemed to be a safety issue.
If there is something that may affect durability/appearance, noise/vibration/harshness etc. they may issue a TSB.
