Looks like I'll need to get rid of my excursion for a 2013 f150.

Getting back the Ex; I'm glad I don't have those holes in the back bumper. I just look behind me before getting in,and then use all 3 mirrors to back up. What do they do, cause a beep before you hit something? Sounds like a band-aid for a bad driver....lol.

backup sensors make a great addition when parking in crowded lots, parallel and parking garages when every inch matters. with the sensors i know when i get a solid tone i'm exactly 6" from whatever closest thing is behind me, when you combine these with your mirrors it makes it a very easy and accurate task backing up. also it will alert you if a small child or dog is directly behind you that you cant see in any of the mirrors.

I'm excited to have the combination of backup camera and sensors in my new truck.

Actually I did tap a tree one time due to;
>being in a hurry
>overcast day
>hatch window being tinted
>and having sunglasses on
and it did p*** me off.

It put a tiny dent in the bumper but I got a mint OEM one from a garage sale for $15 and I sold all the mounts and pads off it for $50.

What about the Early Early Early 2000s?

I always try to get the sellers to send me pics of the sticker in the door jamb so I know axle ratios, engines, and springs ahead of time.
looking at one with a build date of 06/1999

Paint Code:
SE KY
It looks Toreador Red with no cladding, but that doesn't seem like a standard code.

Axle Code:
UTC

Spring Codes:
0L118
NOA

It's like nothing lines up on this oddball.
I'm taking all the standard codes from here:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...oor-codes.html
