Yet another problem
Got yet another problem with my '93 Bronco. Last weekend, I drove down to Corolla, drove on the beach for a combined total of 6 miles. Immediately after pulling back on the road and shifting back into 2H, I would step on the gas to accelerate and once I accelerated to 1500rpms, the truck would buck and not speed up. I pulled over, shut the truck off, started it up, went to accelerate and it did it again. Repeated the process and it went away. I drove the rest of the trip with no problems other than the irritating exhaust leak. It drove fine until today. On the way home from work, it did it twice. And on my way to run an errand, it did it twice.
I have no idea what it is and I don't have the money to keep chasing problems. I just had the transmission replaced, driveshaft rebuilt, and the rear end all but rebuilt. Any ideas???

Check all the plugs and connections in the transmission, retrieve codes. See that no cables where mangled/damaged/cut/shorted while the transmission was swapped. I think it's either a loose connection or a MLPS problem. Check the transmission fluid level, with the engine running at operating temp (doing so after a short trip will yield the most accurate results).

check the dizzy cap for cracks, plug wires not melted and are snug. when this issue occurs does it rev above 1500rpms in neutral? Probably time to pull codes, do both KOEO and KOER

That's what happened to my 1990 bronco. It would run but wouldn't accelerate and I had to limp home. The next morning the truck ran fine until it didn't later in the drive.
It's the fuel pump. Take an arm and a leg over to your Ford dealer and get a replacement pump. Don't just replace the fuel pump motor, it's the pump body that has a plastic check valve that fails and it's not fixable.
Or just sell the gas eating hog.
