Those are all good ideas and will slow most crooks down. But due to ' Ford' placing the starter solenoid in the engine bay they are easy to start with out a key. If i can get the hood open i can jump start it with a power lead to the coil and a screw driver. That's on most old fords , later models it may not work.So get a hood lock , lock the steering wheel and get a big xxx biting dog.
Relocating the starter solenoid to inside the cab may work .

This is actually genius, I'd go as far as splicing in a toggle switch under the dash on the NSS circuit. that way you park in a shady area, you hit the switch, and even if a thief breaks in, they can't hit it.
