I can only guess these trucks are pretty easy to steal im sure I can start my truck with a screw driver and with no steering lock it won't stop any would be crim from getting away haha.
Any way to build in a switch to kill the ignition that cannot be easily bypassed, like if its run off the ignition and key itself.
Preferably with the least amount of wire cutting and still easily accessible. I'd like to hide the switch under/behind the seat in the glove box or if I can find a trust worthy weather proof switch under the cab. Thanks!
at some point, someone removed the neutral safety switch in my truck but left the trailer plug looking connector with a bunch of wires crimped together to bypass the safety switch. conveniently enough, if you pull the plug and crimped wires out, the truck won't start or turn over.
if its a really bad spot (i.e. in a shady neighborhood in baja), i pop the hood and take the coil to distributor wire with me.
