question on highboy lowboy

Ok I thought a Highboy has coilsprings up front and lowboy is a straight axle?

So my next question is did 78 f250 4x4 crew cab come in a highboy with a dana 44 upfront?

Highboys (not a Ford term BTW) weren't produced after mid-77. All "highboys" had leaf springs up front.
There aren't any '78 model year highboys.

All F250 4X4's up to somewhere around 2004 (I think) have leaf springs.

Lol, oh boy...

After decades of factory workers only calling f250s "highboys" they suddenly stopped in 1977, half way through the year....

No one was to utter those words again.
