Mine is under 16 with the Ecoboost. About 50/50 city/hwy mixed driving. 3.73 gears and dumbo mirrors aren't helping, I only get 18.5 on the highway running 70 mph.
The rear end seems to have a LOT to do with gas mileage... especially where the EB is concerned. Everyone with the 3.55s and 3.73s seem to get substantially less mileage than those with the 3.31s.
You really don't think the 3.73's are to blame for you not getting the mileage on the sticker?
Yes, that's what I said, in addition to my dumbo mirrors:

My other reason for wishing I had gone with the 5.0L is faster warm-up, no intake coking issues / PCV issues, and no intercooler up front preventing the install of a hidden winch mount.

That applies to ANY engine/trans combo!!! Gear makes ALL the difference in the world when it comes to fuel economy!!!

I'd say 19 avg with the 3.55's qualifies as pretty good.
Speed is another big killer of fuel economy in a pickup. If I could run a constant 60-65, this thing would get 23 or better. As it is with the cruise on 72-73 with the A/C on (and carrying 800lbs) 21 is no problem.
