62k maintenance question

I picked my truck up earlier this week after being fixed for a warranty item and they gave me a break down of the multi point inspection. The big items I'm curious about are the transmission flush, transfer case flush, and fuel delivery system maintenance. I'm from the era where you didn't change your transmission and transfer case fluid due to mileage, but because they needed it. Is that the same train of thought on these new trannies and transfer cases? And what about the fuel systemttreatment? Has anyone else done it? I'm at 62,000 miles.

Thanks

They're just trying to sell you services you don't need.

None of those items are listed in the maintenance guide at that mileage.

Yup.

They are definitely trying to make a few dollars off of you. There's no reason to change the T-case fluid, the fluid in that thing will last a long time. The transmission fluid is supposed to last 150,000 miles, but I would have it changed around 100,000 miles to be on the safe side. Unless you tow frequently I wouldn't change the transmission fluid at that mileage.

Trans flush is nice because it requires the flushing machine to properly push the ATF through the transmission, while the transfer case fluid you literally just dump and refill, and with 2 threaded ports in the transfer case it's a very easy process.

Since this truck has been so good to me so far, I'm actually just digging to find something to fix on it. I just replaced my pickup bed bolts this past weekend just 'cause.

Thanks for the replies guys. I figured they were just trying to sell services. I just wasn't for sure on the fuel delivery system service

There is no fuel system maintance other than regular fuel filter changes and draining of the separator.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still in a 6.0 and it's recommeded to do a flush and ext. filter every 30,000 miles. I thought the ts tranny with the good int. filter required service every 60,000 miles.

This was true from 2008-2010. 2011-present models it's done every 150,000 miles as per the owner's guide.
