Trans/Transfer Case Fluid ?
I need to flush my tranny, it has been almost 30k miles, and i have a quick question. I have read THIS article and know that it takes 18 quarts but you need to buy 20 quarts to make sure its full. I have a 4x4 so should i change my transfer case fluid while im at it? if so how much will that take?? thanks, sorry for the ingorance its my first time and want to do it right. Im also looking at using Royal Purple MAX ATF, if anyone has used and has oppinions good or bad please reply.

If I were you, I would run Schaefer's. I know that Brian at BTS runs this stuff in all of his transmissions. I run it in mine and like it a lot. The only problem will be trying to get you hands on some. Here is a link that may help. www.specializedlubricants.net/trucking.html
