So, ever since my lift was installed, I've been looking for a step or step bar solution to accommodate wifey's short legs. I've searched far and wide, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've even gone to a couple of local fabrication guyz, but it seems like what I want is dang near impossible. I'm looking to find a powered, retractable solution that will drop to at least 16 inches below the bottom of the door sill...either individual steps or step bars. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Thanx in advance.
I just found the Step-Slider product by Rock Slide Engineering, but it doesn't look like they're available for my year/model. I sent them an inquiry regardless. Have you guyz ever seen these before?
have seen those Amp Research steps modified to drop a bit lower than they came from factory.....my wife is 4'11" stepping into our unlifted 99 F250 was a climb for her 8" lift and 38s she wouldn't do it

My mom was 4'11'' too so I can relate. Years ago when she rode in my big Bronco I had to keep a plastic step stool with a rope on it for her to get in. That truck spent too much time in the woods to have steps hanging down only to get hung up/ripped off on things.
