Front spring help

Hey guys I am working on a 2001 Ford F-350 DRW with 40,000 original miles on it. The owner put on a aftermarket Reunel bumper on it with a winch and when he puts his camper in the bed he says the front sags pretty bad especially when he hangs his quad off the front of it. If I am reading the door code correctly I believe the truck has V codes currently. I want to throw some X codes under it but wondering if it will ride to harsh unloaded. I will also be installing some Bilstein at the same time.

So based off the vin tag it has V codes correct?

Yes, V front C rear. Personally you can't go wrong with x codes. Since you have a heavy bumper and winch the ride won't be much different. The added weight of the diesel and all the extras won't make the truck sag.

I had X codes in my old 7.3 excursion and a 400lb ranch hand bumper on the front and it rode great.

Make sure you only go OEM replacement or ATS. Any other aftermarket spring is junk and have an actual lower weight rating.

My notes taken from another thread say 2C3-5310AFA for front X codes. Hopefully someone will confirm.
