dash lights out

I have a question. The other night my dash lights and my fuel gage went bad. This is on my 03 f-250 SD v-10. Its not the fuses any body got any answers. Thanks. only 5800 miles on truck im not very happy.

Just be thankful you don't own a Focus. Non-working gauges are part of the deal. Sometime the fuel gauge works, sometimes no. Lights, same thing. Door locks, same deal. I think the dealers have given up and figure we'll all just buy a Toyota.

Actually, if it's not a fuse I would suspect a grounding issue.

I've had a simular problem on a '02 E450. I had to unplug and plug in the plug on the back of the speedo a few times.

thanks wolf, turns out it is a module in the dash that the dealer had to order. but all is good ford is paying for the repairs and the dealer has given me a rental. just sad its a escort but atleast a ford hehe

for those that were wondering the dealership found that the module in my driverside mirror had shorted out and that was what had caused the lights on my dash going out. it also was the cause of my fuel gage going screwy.
