I am. The IDI is the grandfather of these trucks. IDI stands for indirect injection. Ford sold a 6.9 L naturally aspirated diesel followed by a 7.3. These were mechanical injection pumps with no computer what so ever. They leaked oil terribly.
Really? I've owned three, and the only significant leaks I experienced were from the power steering pump and gear, and from the damned E4OD.
