boost gauge

Ok I hooked up a boost gauge today in my 97 7.3 I put it in the map sensor line but its not working the only time it works is if I get on it but at idle there is nothing

Mine works the same way and i have mine tapped into the spyder.

Sounds about right.

I've hit 22lbs of boost in OD.

That's normal. You can't build boost with no load on the engine
