TS Performance chip

Anyone had experience with this company. My 01 had the chip when I bought it and ran very good for about 4 years. We now have just over 150k on the truck and the chip is messing with engine codes and causing the truck not to start. It had two prongs or contacts? which looked to be damaged by heat probably and I called the company and they said to mail it back as it was a lifetime warranty. I thought good deal!. They sent the same chip back saying it was reprogrammed. Truck ran good to house, about 4 miles. Then didn't want to start, gave engine codes for waste gate control valve, and exhaust pressure control valve fault. I'm hoping to send it back again but I wonder why they sent the old one back since it had obvious damage to two of the contacts.
Just wondering if anyone had similar problems or what??

thanks

I had a bad experience with them a couple of years ago.

I purchase one of their six or 8 program "switchable chips". As soon as I installed it, I had shifting issues (Felt like the truck was getting rear ended every time the torque converter locked up, and it was constantly hunting up and down for the right gears).

I went round and round with their tech support via email. At their request, I shipped them back the chip to be reprogrammed. A few weeks passed, and I didn't hear anything. Their phone number would constantly ring busy and I could never get ahold of anyone. I Finally got a response via email that it was being shipped back to me. They gave me a tracking number. Four weeks later, the tracking number still said "Shipping info received", but no sign of an actual package being given to the post office. Many more unanswered calls and unanswered emails, I finally got on their public forum and posted a huge message publicly describing my whole ordeal with tracking numbers, dates, etc.

The next day, they replied to my post trying to call me a liar and saying I had given them the wrong truck info. And telling me the chip was still sitting on the techs desk. I posted copies of my original order and emails showing that their accusations were not true (Correct truck specified on order and emails). In the end, I ended up getting a partial refund. They kept $25 for the stupid little rotary selector switch that they had told me NOT to ship back, since they were planning on sending me a replacement chip.

Other people have had better luck.

This might not apply, but it had a TS 6 position chip in my '95 Powerstroke and it worked well for me for years.

Well, they did send my chip back after supposedly fixing the obviously damaged chip, still did not work. Then they sent me a new one. It worked but now I'm having starting issues and I have gone through glo plugs, and now injectors and pressure sensor, and figured out that it is the chip again. I'm hearing that these type chips can cause damage to computer so I probably will be looking at a programmable type chip, after I figure out it the chip has damaged my computer or not?????
