Good morning Trav, Bart, & Greg.
Lazy morning for me. Slept until 11a.
Monday I will be gone for a about four days. I'm going up to Northern Nevada to visit my life long buddy that turns 70 on Monday. His health isn't good so I want to go spend some time with him. So I most like won't be around much next week. Hold down the fort. LOL
Sounds like a smart investment to me. I wouldn't want a vehicle without A/C. They make some nice vintage units these days.
Based on the price... it should be REALLY nice. I drove a '69 in high school that had no AC. I'm older now... with a job. I am getting cold air, period.
Yea I understand. I lived in the high desert of Nevada most of my life with summer temps in the mid 90s to lo 100s. Never had A/C in my house until I was 31. The first vehicle I had with A/C was when I was 39 years old.
It is the same with cruise control. I passed on a fairly nice Crown Vic P71 2003 for $500 because NO CRUISE.
I wouldn't own a vehicle without cruise. Yea I could of had one installed but I'll when I need another CV I'll find another cheap with cruise.
Not so happy today. Brother decided to finish putting his jeep wheels on the ranger and turns out one of the wheel studs are bent and I have none that fit. Then find out the entire ranger needs brakes including the adjusting crap. This ranger is driving me nuts.

ahhh brakes and steering when you need them the most you need them the most.
they are 2 thing that mater.
if the engine won't start the truck is not dangerous (unless you are in traffic)
if the transmission won't shift the truck is not dangerous (see note above)
if the differential don't work truck is not dangerous (see note above)
if brakes don't work truck is dangerous (unless engine won't start)
if steering don't work truck is dangerous.
Well trust me brakes will go in right after I get the car running again.
I know the rest of the drivetrain is good as I drove it before we stripped the cab and bed off to put the new ones on which is becoming a little bit bigger of a project then I imagined.

My darling truck just turned the clock past 160k today! I should get her something nice to celebrate...
Been running around all day today to find a place for me and the Mrs. Things were so much cheaper when I was by myself and living in the ghetto apartments...

What have you fine gentlemen been up to?
that thing is worn out, I can bring a trailer down to take it off your hands for you.
yup married cost money, throw some kids in the mix and you live back in the ghetto.
Hahahaha. The truck will get sold when I die or it gets wrapped around a pole or both. Hahaha. She's got a ton of life left, glad I found one with low miles, because I have a lot I want to put on it.
And you are definitely right, I just let the soon-to-be Mrs made wedding decisions and I just say "yes ma'am" and swipe the card. Happy wife, happy life. But that doesn't mean I can't save some cash for my girlfriend, the truck (she calls it my girlfriend).
