Crab is in season april 1 to oct 31. They are slow this year, water is still cold.
Sad news one way, good another female crabs this year are catch and release in Md.
I guess it should give the population a chance to grow, but we will all miss the sweetness of the meat.

My buddy is getting his crabs for the restaurant from Louisiana, so the slow start to the season isn't having an effect on him

Must be it then. Crabs are nonexistent, even crab cakes and stuff like that. Tired of shrimp. At least the oysters are still good.

Yeah, rough winter here. We finally had Rollback shaved today, he's over a month late. Would have froze to death had we had him done when we normally do.
We were still using the wood stove up to last week a few times!

As long as you're not doing any "manscaping", Charlie.

If you do, remember that Alan Harper on 2 1/2 Men said that it is not a good idea to use aftershave lotion.
