wiper switch?
I have a big mix of parts from 76- 86 in my truck, it is a gem to find parts for. Ha.
My delay wipers stopped working, only the low and high speed work. I can only find 70's Lincolns and T-Birds at the pick and pull. Is there any chance these switches will work with our trucks?
My current one is from a 79 Ranger Lariat Supercab. The econolines I found have a different switch all together.

No, because the OP's truck already has intermittent wipers, so he just needs to replace the defective switch.
1987/91 switch is different, so is its ****, the intermittent governor is also different.

To the OP, before you go replacing the switch, check and make sure the switch has a good ground.
If the switch loses it's ground, the wipers lose the delay function.

OK thanks guys. I will check the ground, that makes sense. I have had everything apart in there so many times I probably left something loose.
