Well this is my first 6.9 diesel. I will be getting it in about a month but I did put 100 down for security deposit. It is a 1986 f350 crew cab long 4x4 manual 6.9 diesel. Took it for test drive and wow talk about love at first sight. It has literally less than 90k. But only TLC besides some Minnesota rust is redoing the fuel lines. Right now in the bed the fuel line is connected to a fuel tank from a boat. but I'm going to run home brewed bio in it anyway so lines were to get replaced anyhow. And been debating to put bigger removable tank in bed anyway. It starts and runs better than my honda. Oh it does need oil change and new wipers and front tires. But I'm exited.

Congratulations! I purchased my first diesel mid May 91 F350 4x4 Crew cab pic in my avatar.(PO Rhino lined whole truck) It has some small mechanical issues but I'm still like a kid in Christmas morning waiting to start her up and listen to her run.

Your truck looks like a good one

It was a work truck for the second owner hauling cement payloader and a ton of tools. The rear seat was removed for a homemade tool box. But po has the seat. All I need is some bolts to put it in. The po told me on how it easily hauled a bail in the bed and 11 1,000 lb bails on a trailer and didn't feel it.

that's a nice find for Minnesota, from my experience the idis are kind of rare up there and a crew cab sick even more so

Yeah especially In that combo plus 4x4 manual I'm not complaining about some rust. Key for me is reliability and drive train.

To answer your question red454sedgwick I'll be doing military training. But after I get back I'm picking up big red for a total of 1800. It may be a lot but figured I'd pay up to having the po hold it for a month while I'm gone. But yeah while your here I'll be gone

1800 is a good deal if it is what the owner says it is, my 93 is a lot nicer than that 87, but it's getting a new motor. It's funny if I'm broke down with the 87 half as many people stop to see if I need help than with the 93
