I was writing to him about that portion.
I did read it very carefully, removing the OM-2859 parking brake lever pin you're referring to is a no brainer.

Removing the C0DZ-2819-A pin from the handle is impossible, that's why I asked the OP in posts 2 & 5 why did he need to remove the handle.

I hadn't seen anyone respond to that portion of his post and I'd had a no brainer moment and removed the pin so I was just checking with him to see if that had worked out OK for him.

I'll make sure to check with you before responding to anyone further on this forum, OK? Right!!

Our good bud CS65 chastised me the other night for removing that pin so not sure who knows what and who thinks which things are a good idea or not.

I'm standing up for myself. If I were fighting with him, you'd know it. Tone would be much different.

I have a great sense of humor. I can laugh out loud at myself, so you KNOW I can laugh at other people with even more vigor. Some people I find downright outrageous, but I'm a people watcher so odd behaviors have always fascinated me.

The thing I laugh about the most on here is the lack of a straight forward answer to such simple questions ............................

I just spoke to the guy that does cadmium plating and he says it is a cold process that doesn't stick to plastic. I'm thinking about sending him the serrated shaft from my e-brake to get it plated. Not positive it was originally done in silver cad but it looks like it and cadmium has a sort of natural lubricating property to the coating that can't hurt.

Cadmium plating offers an exceptional bonding surface for adhesives, such as those increasingly used in aircraft manufacturing, and is the preferred coating for salt-water environments. Additional advantages of cadmium plating include: low electrical resistance; outstanding conductivity; superior solderability; favorable galvanic coupling with aluminum; and excellent natural lubricity, which results in prevention of galling and a low coefficient of friction.
