Just got my AE in from Clay today. My truck has a slight vibration at idle. So my truck is showing codes of P0269 cylinder 3 balance fault, an P0284 cylinder 8 balance fault, P1211 injector control pressure high/ low fault. On the live data screen cylinder 3 was showing a peak of 3.2% change in rotational velocity. Cylinder 8 was showing a peak of 5.9% change in rotational velocity. Cylinder 8 concerns me the most because I changed out last year due to a bad buzz test an vibration at idle.
I changed it out for a standard AD reman injector instead of the LL injector because I installed Clays FRX. The vibration at idle went away for about 6 months. Should I change it out again because it is still under warranty, an the numbers I'm seeing on that cylinder?
Next problem is during live data full throttle run my injector duty cycle maxed out t 64.08% an my injector pressure dropped to 2008psi. This is when I threw a check engine light. Is this a sign of a week HPOP. thanks Mike
What CPS are you running? The Grey OEM one can cause some trouble with number 8. You wouldnt believe the number of people who replace number 8 because the computer test says its bad, but really, its just the way it is.
What is ICP and IPR like at other times? You could have a leaky IPR, or a weak HPOP or LPOP.
You have a hot tune, bad O-rings on your injectors, or a loose injector. I only say "loose injector" to those who have done injector work, because my experience has shown they don't always stay put for myriad reasons.
