excursion fire
it was a sad day for us and our excursion [family truck ster ]
got woke up by police at 1 am on Saturday
truck in a total blaze fire
fire company did a great job saving my garage

What on earth happened. I have not heard too many stories (actually probably none) of trucks spontaneously combusting while at rest.

Yea odd for one to burst in too flames just sitting for the night. Must be a sound sleeper if your truck is on fire in the driveway and it took them to wake you. lol

Did that pressure switch recall get done on the master cylinder? I thought that's what it was for

I am a fire investigator, And the cruise control deactivation switch is probably one of the biggest recalls in history. Ford put them on millions of vehicles, Even after knowing they had a problem.
The is the first thing that comes to mind when I look at a Ford truck fire. Get your VIN and call any Ford dealer to see if the recall was satisfied.

Probably why it's a good idea to get the OASIS report when one first purchases a used FORD vehicle.
