Anyone need a solid 67 Passenger side Door?

I hope this is ok with the Mods to post this here. Since it's more of a heads up.

I bought an engine from a guy yesterday and he had a nice solid 67 passenger side door. He hauled it all the way from Nevada and then found out it was different then his 69 F100 door. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure this was a one year only door.

He's had it just sitting in his garage since.

It looks good. The only thing I saw, is it has a few small holes, from a big towing type/west coast style mirror, that need to be welded up. And he doesn't have the door panel. The window crank handle and inside door handle are there though.

He's only asking $50.00 for the door. He's located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

I don't currently have a bumpside or enough room to store the door other wise I would have bought it.

I don't have any stake in the sale of this door. He was just a nice guy, that wasn't that savvy when it came to the internet. So I told him I'd ask around and see if any one needed the door.

If anyone is interested PM me and I'll give you his contact info.

I could use a good one. The problem is that you really need to examine the inside of the door closely. By feeling with your hand and with a flashlight. I have found many doors that look good from the outside but when looking from the inside the demons come out. Lots and lots of passenger side doors are damaged on the bump portion of the door then filled with bondo. one way to tell from the outside is to look for the curve of the door from the front to the back. It is NOT straight from the factory; there is and outward curve. The other area is the bottom of the door; especially in the corners. Might look good from the outside but a flashlight and a mirror might reveal something else. Finally, I have found a few doors that are twisted per-say. The window frame typically seems to be more pushed in at the front and top. That one baffles me; I have found it on two doors so far from different year trucks. I'm guessing it was a tooling thing that ford corrected. I can't imagine I came across two doors that had the same type damage done to them?

I didn't break out a flash light and mirror but from what I could see it's a nice straight, solid door with no dents. I can't really afford to run back up to check it over closer. It's a hundred mile round trip for me. If you are interested I'm sure he would be willing to check over the inside for you. Just let him know what you want him to specifically check.

He's an honest guy that isn't out to rip off anyone. He just wants the door to get used. That's why he's priced it so cheap. I bought a disassembled 300 6 cylinder from him and he even pointed out a single nick that was on one of the main journals on the crankshaft.

He does have it listed on CL but there are no pictures. Here's the link: 67 ford passenger side truck door

His name is Ron.

1967 was a one year only door.
1967: You push the inside handles forward to lock the doors, 1968/72's have door lock *****.

1967 only: Door shells, window regulators, door lock remote controls, window and door crank handles, vent frames, vent handles, door latches, door lock cylinder link rods, arm rests, door trim panels.

1967/72 same: Upper/lower hinges, outside door handles, glass, division bars, weatherstrips, door lock cylinders.

Does this mean a bare '67 cab will not swap over to a '69? As in, could I use a '69 door in a '67 cab? I have all necessary '69 components that could be swapped over. My truck is needing a new cab and a local is offering a '67 for sale.
