Child door lock

We cannot open the rear passenger door from the inside. We have switched the child interlock on the door both ways, no luck.
Any ideas?

Child door lock

There are previous posts on this. Ford used cheap materials on the inside door handles, the part you pull on to open the door. They break and you can't open the door from the inside. Fortunately, the part is cheap (I bought one a couple of years ago for about $10.) and the job is easy. Simply remove the door panel and R & R the door handle.
