Leveling kit problems

Just bought the procomp 2.5 leveling kit, new upper control arms (Moog) and two oem struts for my 2004 fx4.
It looks great on it and everything but I'm having the same clunking noise before I tore into it and it's driving me insane.
I know the control arms are rubbing on the coil spring and that's what I think the noise is but then that wouldn't make sense since the noise was before hand but I think it only made it last time due to the coil spring being broke in half. I just need some help please!!

Did you check the sway bar link

I agree with Dano check the sway bar links. I have also heard ball joints and outer tie rod ends clunk if they were loose enough.

Yeah I took the sway bar links loose to lower the control so the strut could slide out...worse comes to worse ill just get new sway bar links and see what happens...

I know for a fact it's not the sway bar links. My strut spring is having paint rubbed off from the control. I don't know how to fix this cause you can't put anything on backwards when it lines up only one way.
