And more so it wont even let.me try to select gear 1 if I wanted to the selector arm feels like it bottoms out. Im so confused anymore. Maybe I should just leave it un aligned. Id rather not..
It's literally impossible for reverse to be before park. It cannot physically happen. If you have your truck in the "R" position right now, you actually have it in neutral. I hope you set your ebrake, or park the truck in a flat area.

Hmmm could it have been from tugging on the linkage itself? I didnt think anything of it at the time.. I just pieced it all back for now. Like now my stuff works good. But its back to being unaligned. Cause other wise it jusy refuses to slide on the shaft coming from the trans. How would I go about fixing the shifter now? Maybe if I start there itll help solve.some stupid issue I'm having futher down this process. You see the issue Is I remove.my mlps and align it
I just slip it back on the shaft from the trans however the screw holes dont line up nor the linkage. So
. The only way for me to make it line up is to shift it to tje next In line which is drive and then it slips on perfect and stays aligned. But thats when I get that weird.flip floped shifting
The transmission itself has to be in "N" (neutral) also before putting the TR sensor on.
Then adjust the TR sensor.
Then put the stalk in "N" (neutral).
Now put the shift arm on the shaft.
