Are you trying to put a 4R70W MLPS on a E4OD or vica versa?

Ive no clue does the e4od mlpslook different? Mines tan and look basically like the one u posted other then color

Mine doesnt look exactly.like this its tan has ears on the sides for the connector doesnt have that tab on the left side and has the fotp-7f293-AA on it

It does look like that.. hmmm then why doesnt it line up? If I line the trans grooves up with the.mlps thats when I got reverse as park. But if I put it in nuetral I have to spin the mlps to.be able to bolt it in. So then its outa wack again.

Whats odd though is with my linkage disconnected I slide it throughout the prndl and I cant go to 1 it just wont budge no more?

There should be two key bumps in the sensor and two groves on the shaft.
With it slipped on to the shaft and in these groves and then you turn it untill the lines line up while in "N" and tighten down the two bolts.

If the screws at the bottom of the column are tight and the brackets that hold the cable under the truck are in tack it should all line up with the pointer in the cluster pointing at "N".

Did you ever say what year you are working on?

Yeah its a 93 f250 like I said its odd like my prndl shifter doesnt go to 1? Unless it is but the little needle doesnt match the levers position. Like it goes to two and stops.

Are you sure you have a E4OD and not a C6 Transmission?
What is the letter under TRAN on the sticker on the drivers "B" pillar?

Are you just saying the pointer in the cluster is off an the transmission will go into all gears?

Really wish I wouldnt even have tried this... it is odd like reverse is park cause thats the only way itll turn on now
And so I guess n is reverse d is n and 2 is drive..

Yes!!!! The trans shifts okay when I move it with a wrench its just like
The shifter arm position does not.match what the cluster says
