wow is complete understatement, that thing is way over the top. well at least for here in the states. would'a liked to have had that 40 years ago in vn.
about all that thing needs now is a 'cow catcher' up front to clear a path or set off mines in the road before you are over them. unfortunately I guess most of those are command detonated to counter early explosion. but the radiator guard is trick.
we had a 2000 Excursion V10 XLT in redfire and gray. it was probably the best suv I have ever driven, wish I still had it. drove the 7.3 and it seemed a little sluggish, but with all the diesel techies out there the diesels are really a viable way to produce lots of power and great economy. the tdi's from Europe are providing owners with 75-80mpg. our restrictions keep them down in the 50's, but that's still better than most gas rigs.
