Good morning all.

Back home and had to clean the house. My two pups decided to roll in the mud due to the rain this past week and deposit a ton of dust and dirt in the house. I guess that I needed to do spring cleaning twice this year. And that's after driving 14 hours.

Had to tell someone that I got an average in Myrtle Beach 19 to 21 mpg around town and 21 to 23 on the highways. As soon as I got back here back 18 to 19 mpg around town. I don't know why the mileage goes down here in CT.

One thing I am glad of was driving my F250 and not a Prius. Those Highways are insane. Just hoping Tom keeps his insurance up to date. Driving a Prius is like playing Russian roulette. LOL

I'm surprised you didn't take the jeep, John, since you were going down to warmer weather. I'm sure the drive there wouldn't have been as comfortable though.

That's the reason that we take the F250. We have taken the Jeep before and you have to stop just to stretch and stabilize. And yes it's a lot more fun with the Jeep.

What a gorgeous day. A little breezy but beautiful.

Got the camper all set for the weekend.

Hey guys!

Anybody thinking of using Kilz "Kwik Start"....DON'T!

On both sanded old paint and fresh Drywall, it's crackling ad flaking. I can't even begin to describe my anger right now, as I take the 60 grit to an entire room so I can start over.

I'm going back to my trusted zinsser and Benjamin Moore. The only reason I used the kilz was because I was in a rush and that's all the hardware store up the street had in stock.

This disaster is following the horrible efflorescence issue I had with my dark pewter colored grout ending up bone white. 4 days of acid scrubbing later the color is somewhat acceptable.

I think my house is angry I tore the original pink tile out.

Well, back to sanding I go.

And of course, 60 grit is just gumming up instantly. I'm debating whether it will be quicker to tear off and re-Sheetrock or come back at it with some 30grit and skim coat it after.

Yeesh, sounds like you're having a rough time of it. Hope things go better for you, I wish I had some helpful advice but home improvement is NOT my thing!

Good morning all. Another beautiful day out there. Not a good day to be sanding a wall. Pink tile?

Morning all.

Have a question:

I saw a couple of Connecticut Ford Enthusiast decals and was wondering where they came from and if they are available for purchase.
