Yes, one of the very first second gens. Its a 2004 that I just crossed 150k on. I've been avoiding the conversation here since we have sooooooo many haters amongst us

How has that been for you? I've never heard of many who have had issues wit them, and some seem to go 300K+ without any issues to speak of. I'm always nervous about something expensive failing out of warranty, but it seems to be rare.
I've had nothing but routine maintenance and recalls, no major failures. Only on my 3rd set of tires, just had the rear brake shoes replaced for the first time and the front pads were done around 125k.

That's great to hear, I really hope mine does as well.
I thought that this was a Ford sight. Maybe I am out of touch, I didn't think that Prius was a Ford product. That would be so sad. The good name of Ford with that little Prius thing. Do they give you Flintstone shoes to help you get to speed? LOL

We're not in a tech forum, so anything goes. Wait a minute...who started the Toyota talk anyway? Oh yeah, that's right...

It comes with one, and that will only work as long as your battery can still power your FICM. Those alternators sure are troublesome, I'm glad my car doesn't have one.
yeah you are just driving around a giant alternator lol
That's more true than you may think. Of course when it fails you replace the whole transaxle. My voltage regulator is a $2,000 inverter that steps up 200v from the battery to 600v for the motors. Fortunately they don't fail often, but I'm happy to be under warranty just the same.
Brendon the Bobcat was a nice machine, it only had 95hrs on the clock.
Tax and all it was &350 for the day.
We all have our faults as for as other rides !!!
One of mine is a Honda Odyssey for the wife and kids.
But we get about 25mph on the highway which is not bad for that size vehicle.
