Long story...shortened it goes like this. Dropped car off last Friday morning. Told them what was wrong and it needed done. Called Monday to check on it after no update. Received a phone call late morning Tuesday with update telling me they needed to order the part and needed the approval. Now furious. Told them car needed to be done Thursday morning. Still waiting, now. Yay! Likely no trip for me.

That's no good...what needs to be done to it? Which parts are they ordering?
I am finding more rocks than dirt !!!!!
I rented it for the day but they do not open back up till Tues.
I have 2 more footings to do for his deck tomorrow.

They got it done. It was the tube assembly for the gas tank. Included a solenoid that I believe controls the fuel tank seal(my description). Service manager tried to tell me it was a common problem and a hard part to get a hold of, which is why it took a full week. I "kindly" reminded him that they didn't order it til Tuesday and it was overnighted, and that I was confused why it wasn't done til Friday at 5.

They track the machine hours and I bet if you go over 8 hours they charge you for more than 1 day.
Good evening from Vermont. Truck ran great up here, alternator is getting weak but oh well. I'll take it
I am glad to hear that you have it fixed Miles.
Now it looks like it might be time for a DC Power alt ?
The 185amp would probably me a good fit for you.

Lol. Probably not right now. Whats weird is my scangauge is still saying 13.1v or so but i have my meter on the alternator and its saying 13.82...never checked what the actual output is when the scangauge reports normally though
