2003 Excursion Trailer brake lights

I am having a problem with my 03 excursion 6.0 . When it is hooked to the car trailer it has all lights except brakes lights on the trailer only. I have checked the relays under the hood and the fuses in the main fuse panel. I took it to Ford and they said it was the switch on the master cylinder but, that checked out fine..... Any ideas?

Which connector are you using on the hitch the 4 wire or the round one? I found that the 4 wire one does not get good connections.

Grounds and I found the plug behind the bumper was also corroded. Caused me many issues.

In my o1 there is a fuse under the hood where the relays are.
