If you are asking, you should get help.

Not sure on the go through, others will chime in.

You know the trans & TC are bolted together in one large, heavy lump, right?

So I just talked to a reputable tranny shop and he said 99% of the time there's more problems than just the seal. He said it would fix the problem for a few weeks but the same thing will happen again. Anybody have any input?

I'm loosing fluid from the spout on the bottom of the bell housing on my e4od.

How does the tranny perform and what condition is the fluid? If either isn't right I would rebuild. If both are good I'd consider just rebuilding the pump which is real easy.
On pulling the unit yourself? I just did a AOD by myself and it's not that bad at all. Used a piece of wood on a floor jack to support the weight.

An AOD is a light and fluffy item compared to an E4OD, especially one with a TC bolted to it. FWIW....

The wood on a floor jack will work for a lighter trans but a trans jack attachment or actual trans jack would be in order for an E4OD IMO...
