E4OD Problem
I have a 90 Bronco and was down 4 wheeling yesterday at my local mud hole. On the way home I noticed my trans wasn't shifting right. It was taching out at 4000 rpms at 55 mph. I only drove it for 10 min. Enough to get it home. Now it seems like it won't shift out of 1st gear. My fluid level is correct. I did take the trans out last week to replace my rear main seal, and my front pump seal. What could be some of the simpler things that I can check 1st without replacing the tranny. Transmissions are not really my strong point. Especially the E4OD. Thanks in advance. By the way, my truck is stock. I hope this helps. Thanks.
