With a 2000 your lucky you got the Edge to read the trans temp. 99's and some 2000 it wont read. You should look into how your ecm read transmission temps, On trucks that come with a OEM trans temp gauge it reads like cold, med or hot and does not climb the temperature ladder like a analog gauge with a probe in the transmission. Point being you might not be getting a accurate reading on your programmer for trans temp..
