Well, after the HPOP, oil cooler, dummy plugs and stand pipes ordeal, the truck starts and runs better than it has since I bought it. The problem now is evidently a broke or disconnected vac line and I can't find it. I figured it out when heater wouldn't go from defroster to dash. Is there a vacuum line diagram somewhere? So far I can't find it or the leak.

Thanks,

Posted a 6.0 intro manual last week and I think, not sure, that there's a vacum diagram in it. Not on my computer right now so can't repost.
Don't see it in there yet, but that's a lot of good stuff in one place - now bookmarked! It's not the grey one one the heater line. Might have to take it to a buddy's to smoke test it - only problem is he works at Gov't motors!
May have found it. Right below the GP controller, I saw what looked a long bolt. Get down in there and it's a old battery hold down. It was wedged between the frame and block. The head of the bolt was right where 2 lines are - the one from the hub. One of the previous mechanics must have been a good one! Of course I didn't notice it til just now.
