Are you talking about the 07 truck? Not sure, but I would check 4x4 west or any 4x4 shops if its different then what Riffraff carries. Heck once back I installed MM hubs for $150.oo installed out the door. They worked great.
Need to get some information. How can I tell what diff we have, Dana 50 or 60? How about the splines in the axle? Do I need to count the splines? or is there a way to tell?
I can't see how a locking hub can be the root cause of your steering issue. A locking hub that won't unlock would make the frozen joint symptoms worse, but would not cause them by yourself. If you don't replace the siezed joint (if that is in fact your issue) you will still have steering issues in 4wd, or once in a while in 2wd if the axle shaft aligns itself on the axis it is frozen.
Did you check the joint for binding with the wheel turned? You won't notice a bad axle joint if the wheel is straight.
The best way to be 100% sure is to look on the sticker on the back of the passenger side axle tube, if its still there. On the lower right corner of the sticker, 229 = D50 and 249 = D60.

Good point. I will check.

Well, we got it all fixed up. End result was the right side hub lock kept engaging when he turn right and that is what kept grabbing the wheel. I know it does't make sense. But we replaced the hub locks with Warns manual hub lock and replaced the warped rotors up front with new callipers and pads. It drives straight and true so fare......
I am going to remain skeptical. Please update us in 2-3 weeks...
Well it's been over two weeks and everything seems to be working fine. Drives straight turns left and right without binding and I found out that the floor shifter ( 4X4) is somewhat seized up a bit. Our next work is to get the shifter linkage working easily again.
