I hit a patch of ice, got turned sideways, and hit the curb. Pretty hard. Now my steering wheel no longer centers (bottom spoke is about 20 degrees left of the bottom) and the truck wants to drift left. The steering was always a little loose, but I could always let go of the wheel and the truck would stay straight.
Have I knocked it out of alignment of something worse?
Like I said with problem #1, I bought this thing to learn!
MFT! You have bent something for sure. Time for an alignment and inspection by someone that knows what he is looking for. I'd guess you have bent the steering link or spindle arm. Time to get professional help.
