window rust?

window rust?

Has anyone repaired rust around the windows of their ex? My ex has 75xxx miles on it and is showing some streaking from around the windows. I think this is a sign of corrosion. Probably in early stages but i want to be proactive and do something about it. My frame was covered in ziebart so i scaped all of it off and have been sandblasting when i have time. Then i plan on rolling on por 15. Meanwhile i have noticed the window thing. I also have cleaned up the door lips. Any help is much appreciated.

Someone here just had severe window rust repaired around the front window. do a quick search and you`ll find it.

I've seen those posts. Some scary photos. It's really the side windows near the bottom. About one streak per window.

Ahh. Ok, that is actually from the trim rubbing through on the door itself. See if you can get new ones. Then remove the old ones then clean and seal the rust.
