Rust spot under rear window

I have a couple of very small rust spots under the rear window on my '93 F150. They're both on the seam at the back wall of the cab (on the outside, that is), and I want to take care of them before they get any worse (i.e. rust through, leak, etc.). As they're right up under the edge of the window rubber (I have a sliding rear window) it's going to be difficult to pry the rubber up and hold it while I wirebrush, prime and paint the spots. Both spots are quite small (like less than the size of a dime). Any tips for how to hold the rubber up out of the way while I work? I'm assuming it's a big deal to pop the window out (even though that would probably be the proper way to do this job), and as I'm working outside, I would need to have it weathertite by nighttime, so removing the window is probably not an option. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I would try a dremal with a small grinder and
then touch it up with a small detail brush. It
won't be perfect but to someone going by
on a galloping horse it will not be noticable.
