need vacuum switch identification help

Just started working on my newest project. I've searched Chiltons, Factory Manual and Autozone but I can't find anyone or anything that tells me what this part is or what to hook it up to. I'm new to the forum so I apparently can't post a picture yet. The item appears to be a vacuum actuated switch. it has a p/n of D52E-83A . It is a disc shape about 3"dia. and 1/2" thick with three ports on each side. The front side ports are in zig zag configuration grouped closely to one side and the center port is blocked. The blocked port has the letter "S" the other two ports don't have any designation. The back side ports are lettered "A" "R" "O". These back side ports are in a straight line across the center of the unit. This unit is mounted near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine. The rest of the information is: 1978 F150 custom, 351M/400 engine, 4 speed stick, 4x4. This truck has been sitting idol for 10 years. Recently I've started working on it. I've dropped the fuel tanks (side and rear). Dropped the fuel lines replaced all hoses, sending units. All is remounted and the engine does run fairly good. All of the vacuum lines have been cut and I'm slowly figuring them out. Really could use help with this one.

The engineering number you see is probably D52E-B3A, Ford part number D5FZ-9E451-B. Thats the vacuum amplifier for the EGR valve.
I'll see if I can come up with a vacuum line diagram.
BTW, welcome to FTE. Lots of good people here.

This is as close as I could come, it's for a '79. The amplifier is marked "VVA" and is in the upper right hand corner.
The second picture is for a '78, but it's not too clear.

Mikeo0o0o0, Excellent!!! Thank you so much for finding these for me. The second one is so yellow I think its older than me lol. Was able to download and they came out clearer. Going to spend a little time reviewing the details before I try to retube everything.

Thanks again,
ENDAMYROPE

P.S. Jamusfam, Thanks for your input as well.

Good to be here guys!
