If ya ever decide to sell than post it here first in the want ad thing.
Or on E-Bay with a buy it now reserve of like $2500.00 at least.
It could prolly go for much more. I have seen people pay more than
that just for parts units to try and restore one of theses. Great find.
Do some more looking around and see just how rare what you have is.
Wow they are rare but not worth anywhere near $1,000 at least not around here. I have turned down one for $200 and another for $300 both not as nice as this one but all there and intact. Had a deal made for a standard model at $100 but could not get there before he sold the whole truck including shell for $850! I may be way off but I am thinking no more than $200 for a decent Deluxe model here in So. Cal.
TexanCali you're comparing apples to oranges though. You're quoting going rates for one in ok to decent shape. This one is pristine. Damn near NOS quality. There is a difference. Sorry if I sounded rude. I really didn't mean to.
Nice score on the topper. They are a rare gem in any condition. And in that un-circulated condition even rarer yet. The guy ya got that from could well
have made another $1000.00 with it on E-Bay (or more) I would think. Would you agree or not Bill?
I wouldn't pay more than 300 bucks for it, despite its pristine condition.
The thing is...here in rust free SoCal, people are jaded. These trucks are plentiful, so...
As the transplanted Texan says, some things aren't worth as much here, compared to other parts of the country.
More Ford trucks are sold new in TX (#1) & CA (#2) than anywhere else.
