Last year they had one. Sounds like Ford better do something about "SAFETY IN THE PLANT".

Unhappy

The last update I got was six injured. It happened at a steel plant that used to be owned by Ford but was sold to Severtal (sp.) a Russian company. They were backing a load of molten steel into a building, hit the building which spilled the steel onto the 8' tires of the vehicle which started on fire and then burst. The injuries were to the steel workers and firemen.

If those tractors that carry the molten steel are any thing like what is used in the steel industry, I'd call this a minor scrape.

For a vehicle to carry 400 tons of molten metal....you need one heck of a vehicle, and a great operator.

Pretty hard to implement a safety program when just a bit sloshed out of the pot (read driver error).

Much worse could have happened.
