Hello, Its me again. Getting closer to paint this spring, so I need to find some paint. For a few years know I have been using PaintforCars, $100 paint job in a box. Works well, not a $2000 paint job but a $100 paint job. I use to shoot NAPA Martin Senour and it worked OK as well. I have read alot about paint and what different people like. I would have no problem buying the $100 paint job again, but the red just isn't close to what the truck is. Summit sell some cheap SS paint. Has anyone had any expeirence matching (T Code Red) with any of the "Cheap" Single Stage Distributors?
Pop on down to your local carquest and have them mix up some PPG single stage to match the factory colors. They have the recipes in house for that year. The OMNI single stage comes out looking very nice from my experience

I will try to post some picts here or on my gallery. $500 is a good price, but still too steep for this truck. I'm thinking more like under $200 complete. Summit has a Candy Apple Red that looks darker that there Red. Computer monitor does not work well for colors. I'm going to get a chip chart from Summit, but if anyone else has some expeirence with Cheap Red paint I would love to here from you.
Thanks, it took a lot of prep work. there are a few ripples, and a few solvant pops, but im very happy with how it turned out...the ppg fdgh is a great product
