IPC problems?
my buddy has a 1999 f250. the truck has a super chip on it and the motor has about 292,000 miles on it. in the past few months the truck has started to kinda pulsate while he is driving. almost like he takes his foot of the gas for a split second. one time the truck when kinda crazy, all of the gage lights came on and started to pulsate really bad, he pulled over and the truck died. he started it up and came to my place but my code reader didn't find any codes. it all of this caused by a bad IPC. he does need to change it because there is oil in it. any help would be great!

If it is the ICP sensor on the front of the driver's side head then simply disconnect the sensor and see if that makes the truck run better. The PCM will default to a set ICP setting and allow the truck to run fine. If this makes a big change then he has a bad ICP sensor and should be replaced. He might should remove the Superchip and see if that makes a difference too.

X2. Unplug the ICP and then remove the superchip, or try it in reverse order to narrow things down. My wife's truck recently had stalling issues from a bad ICP sensor. No oil in the plug (mine does have oil with no issues), but it did throw an ICP code and when reading live data it was showing 3,000 psi at idle.
