LED lights bars

Anyone scaring away oncoming zombies with the super bright LED light bar craze ? Haven't seen many excursion set ups, thinking of getting some but not sure what will look best, roof mount, grill, bumper, under bumper, rears...show me yours..

Funny you should post this. I have some stuff ordered that's gonna facilitate me adding a light bar to the front of my truck.

Once the items all come in, I'll be posting a thread with pics showing everything.

I've got a 50" single row mounted just above the doors, and a 10" rear mounted just above the third brake light on the X.

And a 30" single row mounted in the grill on the Expedition.

The 50" lets me see a mouse on the highway at about 150 plus yards. YES they light up the road.

You need to be fast with the switch to turn them off around traffic. That is why I also wired in a floor switch, think old high/ low beam floor switch mounted to the side wall under the kick panel. I haven't peeled the blue liner on the alum I used for the mount to the side wall.

Yes some night pics, but they do not do any justice at all, doesn't matter how I try and take them. Cheap camera does not help at all.

This is HID head lights on high beam. Reflective sign is about 150 yards.

This is with the 50" bar before I adjusted it up a little. I could see the forested trees in the foreground at 500 plus yards. Hard to tell on this pic tho.

I have an extra 20" and a few 10" and I'll be in Anchorage on Thursday!
PM if you want.

I am contemplating ordering a bunch more bars and some of the dual rows. Some of the dually type flush mount and regular mount ones. The ones I have are Aurora, 5 watt/bulb, single row bars. I have sold about 15 of them now locally.

Really like the grill mount idea. Still bouncing back and forth on ideas as I like the roof mount look

If I ever the cashola (hopefully if/when we get a decision on my wifes disabiity), I'm gonna be replacing the lights behind the grille with some round LED's.

The factory fogs are gonna be pulled and I'm hoping I can use the brackets to mount a set of Rigid Dually 2x2 flood lights in their place.

In between where the foglights are now, I recently bought some brackets from KD Fabworks and will be mounting a 10" LED double row lightbar.

Here's a pic that shows a 20" bar mounted in the same spot on a newer '05+ truck. Mine will be similar, but I'm mounting a smaller bar because I wanna keep the factory foglight location available.

Was wondering what's the difference in Rigid or Lifetime LED. Both seem to have great reviews
