E40d fault code 94
FORDF250HDXLT!!
replace the harness and the tranny fault codes are gone. still can't get the 111 cause a problem with the tps. it's fault code 23. i already replaced the senso and the connector. adjusted the tps.. now i have 1 at idle, 4.06 (center wire) and 5 bottom wire. can't get any better cause i'v alredy rotated the bracket all the way. checked the ohm too.. i get 0.66. i'v inspected the wires all the way..seems ok. when driving sometimes won't downshift properly.
but don't give up on the FIPL/TPS setting.go for 1.2V idle and someplace over 4V WOT.she'll downshift correctly then.i know it can be tricky but it is possible.
don't forget the FIPL (fuel injection pump lever) /TPS (throttle positioning sensor) - code 23 will be tossed if you don't hold WOT (wide open throttle) during the entire scan even if it is good and set correctly.
1.0v idle she wont shift properly.likely way too early as your experiencing but it is a little surprising to see he TECA doesn't like it enough to toss 23.even if it didn't toss 23 though.you wouldn't want to keep it there.you want it shifting perfect.keep at it.
there are some more tips about finding the correct axis to hit both idle/wot voltages in the main tps thread found here:
E40D FIPL/TPS
spent a lot of time setting the tps. now i have 1.20 idle, 4.23 WOT and 4.95 (bottom wire). i'd say it's preatty close..! it now shifts better but sometimes still "kicking" when upshifting from 1st to 2nd gear.. it goes over 2000rpm..and it won't downshift properly.
really don't know what it could be..
