I have 1979 f100 and I have another 1977 f100 can I use the 1977 cluster in my 1979? My 79 has warning lights and I prefer the 77 with needle guages. Is it a direct bolton or is the difference between both clusters. Thanks in advance...
The only reason they would make sense would be if you needed everything. I made a custom gauge cluster for my 77 with an electric speedometer and the rest of the gauges with auto meter and all said and done it probably cost me the same as a Dakota digital or close. But to have just oil, temp, and volt, a $30 to $50 set works just fine.
