Instrument Cluster Replacement

I'm currently replacing my Instrument Panel Cluster. I have looked at one on EBay. My cluster has lights in the ALT spot and the OIL spot. Will one with gauges in these spots instead of lights work in my truck? Thanks for all info.

Not that I know of. If I'm correct, there are different "senders" for the gauges vs. the lights and the plug in the back of the cluster may be smaller or larger pending on what you have....

The sender is different between light and gauge, but the biggie is if you want to swap from lights to gauges or vice-versa you must also change the main (underdash) wiring harness AND the alternator wiring harness.
